These Terms govern your use of the EnginBox platform (the "Platform").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not share your account credentials with others.
• Accounts are non‑transferable (you may not sell or give away your account).

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Fees

• Monthly subscription: $40/month
• Yearly subscription: $360/year (25% discount)
• All fees are non‑refundable, except as required by law.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full credit card details.
We also accept cryptocurrency; crypto payments are final and non‑refundable.

4.3 7‑Day Trial

New users receive a 7‑day free trial. You are responsible for cancelling before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.

5. Content on the Platform

5.1 Types of Content

The Platform contains:

• Official service manuals (provided by manufacturers during our authorized service period or obtained from legitimate sources)
• User‑uploaded manuals (uploaded by users, may be public or private)
• Repair guides, DIY projects, and other user‑generated content (videos, CAD files, instructions)

5.2 Moderation and Review

All uploaded content is moderated. We may:

• Remove or request changes to content that violates these Terms
• Contact users to resolve issues before publication
• Reject content that is incomplete, inaccurate, or infringing

5.3 View‑Only Access

Service manuals are provided for online viewing only.
You may not:

• Download, print, or save manuals
• Copy, redistribute, or share access with non‑subscribers
• Remove any remaining logos or attributions

5.4 User‑Uploaded Manuals

Users may upload manuals and choose to make them public or private.

• Private manuals are visible only to the uploading user.
• Public manuals become part of the Platform's library.

By uploading a manual, you grant EnginBox a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Platform.
You may request removal of your uploaded manual at any time by contacting support. We will comply within a reasonable period.

5.5 Repair Guides and DIY Projects

All guides, videos, CAD files, and DIY content uploaded by users become the property of EnginBox.
By uploading, you assign all rights to EnginBox. This allows us to maintain, improve, and protect the Platform.

5.6 No Warranty on User Content

User‑generated content is provided "as is". We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or safety. You use it at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Platform, including its design, software, and original content (excluding user‑uploaded materials), is owned by EnginBox and protected by copyright and other laws.

6.2 Official Manuals

Some manuals were provided to us during authorized service partnerships with manufacturers such as ARRI, Zeiss, Sony, Canon, Cooke, Angenieux, and others. These are included for the benefit of our community and are subject to the same view‑only restrictions.

6.3 User Content

• Manuals: The uploading user retains ownership but grants us a license to display them.
• Guides/DIY: These become our property upon upload.

If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please see Section 13 (DMCA).

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Download, copy, or redistribute any manual or content
• Use the Platform for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse‑engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform
• Upload infringing, false, or harmful content
• Share your account with others

Violation may result in immediate termination without refund.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available".

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any manual or guide
• The availability or uninterrupted operation of the Platform
• The suitability of any content for your specific repair

Official manuals are included in good faith based on our previous authorized access.
User‑uploaded content is not verified by us. You assume full responsibility for any repair you perform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (typically the subscription fee).

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:

• Incorrect repairs based on manuals or guides
• Damaged equipment
• Lost profits or business interruption

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold EnginBox harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you upload
• Your use of the Platform in violation of law

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms.
If terminated for cause, no refund will be issued.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

13. DMCA / Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement, please provide our Designated Agent with:

• Your contact information
• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing material on our Platform
• A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate

We will respond to valid complaints and remove infringing content promptly.

14. EnginBox Academy

14.1 General

EnginBox Academy provides structured educational content for engineers, including:

• Video lessons and tutorials
• Text materials and documentation
• Timeline‑based learning paths with deadlines

Academy content is included in your standard EnginBox subscription (monthly or yearly). No separate payment is required for access to the materials.

14.2 Certification

Upon completion of certain courses, you may choose to obtain an official EnginBox Certificate. Certification is optional and paid separately.

Certification includes:

• Practical training at our service center in Dubai
• Hands‑on exams supervised by our engineers
• Official EnginBox Academy certificate (lifetime, non‑revocable)

Certification fees are listed in the relevant section of the Platform and are non‑refundable once paid.

14.3 Franchise / Service Launch Program

EnginBox offers a separate Service Launch Program for individuals or companies wishing to open their own repair service.

This program is governed by a separate one‑year contract and includes:

• Market research and business plan tailored to your region
• Detailed equipment, tool, and furniture lists
• Remote or on‑site consultation for workshop preparation
• Training for 2‑3 of your engineers (optics and camera repair)
• 3 years of free platform access for every engineer
• Website setup and first‑year technical support
• Marketing assistance to help launch your service

The fee for the Launch Program is a fixed amount between €20,000 and €40,000, depending on the scope and size of the service. This fee covers the entire one‑year engagement.

14.4 Intellectual Property

All Academy materials, including videos, texts, and structured courses, are the sole property of EnginBox Academy.

You may not:

• Download, copy, or redistribute any Academy content
• Share your access with non‑subscribers
• Sell, license, or commercially exploit the materials in any way

14.5 No Guarantee of Results

EnginBox Academy provides educational materials designed to teach the principles and techniques of lens and camera repair. However:

• We do not guarantee that completion of any course will result in professional competence or employment.
• The quality of your work depends on your own practice, experience, and responsibility — just as flight hours determine a pilot's skill.
• Certification confirms that you have completed the training, but does not warrant your future performance.

14.6 Payment and Refunds

• Academy access is included in your subscription and follows the same refund policy (non‑refundable).
• Certification fees are non‑refundable once paid.
• Launch Program fees are governed by the separate contract and are non‑refundable after the program begins.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at this URL. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
